Made for those who get out there whether the snow gods have delivered or not, the Mach 1 MV 120 TD is a high, performance ski boot designed for advanced level skiers with medium, volume feet who are looking for all, mountain performance, a comfortable but precise fit and a high level of customization. Grounded in the fundamentals of high, performance ski boot design, the MV 120 features T-Drive technology which is a revolutionary shell to cuff connection that allows the boot to function in a much more efficient way. This results in a smoother more consistent flex, better performance and less energy required to ski at a high level. When you add the Asymmetrical Power Transmission shell and cuff design to the equation you get a precise feeling boot that is completely at home in any type of terrain or snow condition. Fit is priority number one in the MV 120 and Custom Adaptive Shape C.A.S. technology is the way we achieve it. Developed with an anatomically shaped shell and liner, the C.A.S. technology provides a great fit right out of the box but allows the boots to be fully customized if need be. Ski it all and ski it well.

C.A.S. SHELL

The C.A.S. Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.

SHELL FEATURES

  • Anatomic and precise shape
  • Easier and faster thermo-forming
  • Easy customization

SHELL CUSTOMIZATION

  • PUNCHING (INCREASE VOLUME)
Only using Tecnica C.A.S. Pro tool system
C.A.S. Liner

C.A.S. LINER

C.A.S. has revolutionized ski boots with regards to fit and personalization. The liners are anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and offer great heel hold. The internal part of the liner is shaped to match the foot while the exterior matches and conforms to the shape of the shell. The dual density micro-cell material is durable and easy to customize. The C.A.S. liners are less prone to pack-out maintaining the fit over a longer period of time.

LINER FEATURES

  • Anatomic and precise shape
  • Dual density pre-shaped thermoformed microcell material
  • Great out-of-the box fit
  • Enhanced sensitivity

LINER CUSTOMIZATION

  • THERMO-SHAPING
Liner in the oven: 80°C-176°F / 8 minutes.
  • PUNCHING (INCREASE VOLUME)
Microcell material can be heated and punched in problem fit areas.
  • GRINDING (INCREASE VOLUME)
Microcell material is easily grindable up to 2 mm in problem fit areas.
  • FIT KIT (DECREASE VOLUME)
Glue the C.A.S. Fit Kit pre-shaped pieces to decrease the volume of the liner.
T-DRIVE

T-DRIVE

DRIVE PRECISION
The T-Drive dynamic carbon connector creates a longer lever arm compared to traditional ski boots. This allows:

  • Quicker edge to edge transitions.
  • Increased lateral power and stability.
  • Edge drive precision.

PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY
The T-Drive Technology creates a stronger and more effective connection between the cuff and the shell, that supports the boot flex and avoids plastic deformation. This means reduced energy dissipation and a more efficient power transmission.

ENHANCED COMFORT
Comfort comes from many places in the new Mach1 MV. The T-Drive technology provides a progressive flex regardless of temperatures, keeping the shape unchanged and a more consistent fit. The T-Drive support also allows the use of softer plastics, without compromising performances but making the boots easier to get on and off.

MATERIAL TRACIABILITY PROGRAM

MATERIAL TRACIABILITY PROGRAM

QR will provide a precise description of all the materials used in the production of the specidic ski-boot, allowing a more precise and consistent regeneration of those materials.
This will result in better quality and more possibility to reuse in new ski-boots production.

Lift Lock Buckles

LIFT LOCK BUCKLES

Innovative Lift Lock system holds the buckles up and out of the way so they don't catch while getting in or out of your boots.

Quick Instep

QUICK INSTEP

Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.

Celliant®

CELLIANT®

Celliant liner is powered by 13 thermoreactive minerals that convert body heat into infrared energy. Infrared penetrates deep into the tissue to increase circulation, oxygen and blood flow. This results in improved warmth, performance, thermal regulation and faster recovery. Lambswool offers additional insulation.

VOLUME CONCEPT

VOLUME CONCEPT

BEST FIT OUT OF THE BOX
Precise anatomical shape results in an accurate fit that offers more comfort and better performance. Mach1 starts with matching the anatomical shape of the foot. To guarantee the perfect fit matching every foot shape the Mach1 series is offered in 3 different volumes:
LOW VOLUME: 98 mm
MID VOLUME: 100 mm
HIGH VOLUME: 103 mm

Grip Walk

GRIP WALK

WHAT IS  GRIPWALK?
GripWalk is a sole-binding interface system aimed to give excellent grip while walking on icy or snowy paths. The convex shape of the GW sole delivers superior walking comfort and grip on slippery surfaces.
Gripwalk soles are composed of a heel pad and a toe pad, that can be mounted and replaced separately.
When a GripWalk sole is mounted on a boot, the binding must be accordingly GripWalk compatible. Those can be identified by the original GripWalk logo on it. Conventional alpine bindings without the logo are not compatible with GripWalk soles.
